A year ago, our drivers didn’t want cameras in their trucks because they thought they were too intrusive. After seeing the KeepTruckin Smart Dashcam at work, they now realize a camera can save their backsides when it comes to incidents or accidents.
Capture the right video that you and your drivers need to protect your business from the uncertainty of the road.
Retrieve any video footage stored locally on the dashcam that isn’t associated with a harsh acceleration, brake, or cornering event.
Start recording in minutes with “plug-and-play” installation. HD video is automatically uploaded to your KeepTruckin Dashboard.
With both forward-facing and inward-facing cameras, our next generation dash cam will streamline coaching, help protect drivers, and intelligently provide drivers with safety alerts.
When the KeepTruckin ELD detects a critical event, 10 seconds of HD video before and after are sent to the KeepTruckin Dashboard for your review.
Hard brakes, hard accelerations, and hard corners.
No, the Smart Dashcam uses the cellular connection in the ELD to upload all video content.
Smart Dashcam is only compatible with the new Cellular ELD (LBB3ca). When you purchase Smart Dashcam, we will upgrade your ELD device, at no cost.
Smart Dashcam is available as an add-on to any KeepTruckin subscription plan.
KeepTruckin uses video data collected from dashcams for a variety of purposes, including internal quality assurance, to improve our products, and to develop new features and services. We’ll only share your video data with your approval, or with third parties on an anonymous, de-identified basis that prioritizes your privacy.
We currently only offer a road-facing dash cam that does not record the driver. We recently announced our upcoming dual-facing dash cam that will have a forward-facing and driver-facing camera that records in the cab. Customers will be able to purchase either camera.
If a Dashcam is disconnected, the fleet admin will automatically be notified.
